  • Janet Jackson Breaks Her Silence, Says Michael’s Legacy ‘Will Continue’ | TMZ.com

Janet Jackson Breaks Her Silence, Says Michael’s Legacy ‘Will Continue’ | TMZ.com

Janet Jackson has broken her silence amid new allegations against her brother, Michael Jackson, in “Leaving Neverland” — and her message is simple … his rep will be just fine.

Michael’s younger sister spoke with The Sunday Times, and addressed what she thought would happen to the King of Pop’s legacy going forward … saying, “It will continue.” Janet went on to say that she still sees Michael’s influence in the world today … a reassuring sign.

Janet says, “I love it when I see kids emulating him, when adults still listen to his music. It just lets you know the impact that my family has had on the world.” She added, “I hope I’m not sounding arrogant in any way — I’m just stating what it is. It’s really all God’s doing, and I’m just thankful for that.”

In the interview, Janet did not speak on Wade Robson and James Safechuck‘s specific allegations head-on … but it’s pretty clear where she stands on the issue. According to Billboard, Janet has been playing Michael’s tunes during her concerts without hesitation.

She’s also defended him in the past, specifically when Jordy Chandler accused Michael of sexual abuse in ’93. At the time, Janet called it a money grab.

Other members of Michael’s family have gone to bat for him in the wake of “Leaving Neverland,” calling Wade and James’ claims full-blown lies. His estate is even taking HBO to court for airing the explosive documentary … saying the network violated a decades-old contract they signed with him back in the day, in which it agreed not to disparage MJ.

Janet’s latest comments come just days ahead of Michael’s 10-year death anniversary. TMZ broke the story … MJ died on June 25, 2009. He was 50 years old.

  • Barack Obama and George Clooney Take a Boat Ride in Italian Lake | TMZ.com

Barack Obama and George Clooney Take a Boat Ride in Italian Lake | TMZ.com

Barack Obama is continuing his European vacation with a stop in Italy — where he and George Clooney are taking suited-and-booted boat rides together … comfortably, of course.

The former POTUS was spotted getting off a vessel with his actor pal Sunday near a dock on Lake Como in Cernobbio. It’s a gorgeous area at the foot of the Alps — right next to Switzerland’s southern border — and 44 and George were dressed for the occasion.

Both guys were wearing jackets and dress pants — but neither appear to be rockin’ ties, as their collars are open and unbuttoned. Gotta keep it business caj for those Italian lake views, right? No sign of Michelle, Amal or the kids here … might’ve just been a bro sesh.

Barack and his fam were seen in the south of France earlier this week, where they grabbed dinner with friends … and Barack showed off his many faces of delight at the table. A few days later, they kept the dream vacay going by hanging out with Bono and co.

At this rate, there’s no telling which famous faces the Obamas will be meeting with next. *Checks Rolodex for celebs that stay in Europe* … lots more to come, probably.

  • Ayesha Curry Admits She Sends Steph “Hundreds” Of Sexy Photos To Keep Things Spicy

Ayesha Curry Admits She Sends Steph “Hundreds” Of Sexy Photos To Keep Things Spicy

    Source: FayesVision/WENN.com / WENN

We told you earlier this week that actress Bella Thorne has a bone to pick with Whoopi Goldberg. The 21-year-old former Disney star had some topless photos of herself hacked, and in order to keep her hacker from leaking them to the public, she released them in an effort to take her power back.

However, Whoopi felt that in this day and age, Bella should have known better than to take risque photos of herself when it’s so common for them to be stolen and released. Bella felt that Whoopi was victim-blaming, and posted emotional InstaStories calling Whoopi’s comments “disgusting.”

A lot of people agreed with the Hollywood veteran though, and felt that stars should know that since they run a higher risk of being exposed, they shouldn’t even think about sharing nude, topless, risque — whatever — photos. That hasn’t stopped many celebs from doing it though, including Ayesha Curry.

While visiting E! News’ Daily Pop to promote her new ABC series, Family Food Fight, Ayesha was asked if she sends “spicy” photos to husband Stephen Curry when he’s on the road and she said, “Hundreds! Hundreds of them!”

However, she admitted that she’s very worried about them getting out.

“He won’t delete them off of his phone!” she said. “He’s not that secure with his phone so it’s actually one of the scariest things in my life.”

She said the trick to keeping those images from getting out is taking photos from the “neck down” (so people can’t prove the photos are of her) and changing her password a lot.

“I’m going to change mine as soon as I get up off this couch,” she said.

It makes sense though that Ayesha is spicing things up with sexy photos. She and Steph have been together since they were teenagers and married since 2011. Not to mention, she also has to deal with other women who are out here trying to get the NBA champion’s attention.

“The ladies will always be lurking and waiting for their moment,” she said recently on Red Table Talk, “but for me, I honestly hate it.”

But aside from naughty photos, the pair keep things solid by making their relationship a priority over everything, and it works.

“Putting ourselves first, and making sure that we make time for date nights and for each other. That’s been very important, as hard as it is,” she said. “Because when you become a parent, you want to put your kids first, and we do, but we do it second to our relationship. Because ultimately, when our relationship is good, the kids are happy and they’re thriving and our family life is good. We have to put that into perspective and realize that it’s not us being selfish, it’s making sure we set a strong foundation.”

Justin Bieber Shares Rich Wilkerson’s Sermon on Overcoming Fear by the Spirit in God

Justin Bieber has reached out to millions of Instagram followers with a Christian message from Pastor Rich Wilkerson, explaining how to overcome fear with God’s help.

Wilkerson talks about leadership and being afraid, but trusting Jesus to prepare us. He quotes Mathew 26:41 which says “the flesh is weak, but the spirit is willing.”

Wilkerson was preaching at the 2019 Vous Conference in Miami, which was attended by Justin and his wife Hailey Baldwin Bieber.

Justin has been open in the past about his battles with fear and anxiety and how he turns to God to cope.

“There is hope and it’s in him!! He loves and cares for you! For God so loved the world that he gave his only son so that whoever believes him won’t die but have eternal life! You are that whoever and he accepts you as you are!!” Justin said.

“He loves and forgives you and welcomes you into his arms every time you mess. He is a perfect and loving God who adores you!” he added.

Justin’s Pastor Judah Smith says he has witnessed the mega-popstar finding incredible spiritual growth in Christ. “Justin Bieber has taught me far more than I could ever teach him about what it means to grow and walk in humility and be someone who really wants to follow Jesus,” he said.

Bieber has shared Wilkerson’s sermons in the past, declaring his Christian faith and the importance in trusting God and not stardom or wealth.

“Sometimes, we get seduced by success – and think it’ll lead to a place of contentment,” Wilkerson said. “But, can I remind you – contentment is not found in a place; it’s only found in a person, and his name is Jesus Christ,” The Gospel Herald reported.

Bieber’s Instagram clip from the sermon ended with Wilkerson saying, “You might be scared but I got a feeling God wants to prepare you.”

Julia ‘Hurricane’ Hawkins, 103, breaks records at the National Senior Games

When Julia “Hurricane” Hawkins turned 100 years old she stopped biking and started running. She knew she’d be a good runner because she had a lot of practice sprinting to pick up phone calls to her landline. Now at 103, she knows her suspicions were right: She won gold in the 50- and 100-meter races at the National Senior Games this week and set their record for the oldest woman to compete — and win! “I always came running in to answer the phone so I thought maybe I could run,” she told TODAY. “I’m so glad it’s over. I love running but, boy, it hangs over your head.” Throughout her life, Hawkins was an avid bike rider and gardener. She has dozens of bonsai trees on her acre of land in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. “I would ride my bike every day and as I got older someone would go with me,” she explained. “I decided to quit after I had one fall and dislocated my elbow.” When biking became too challenging, she wanted to replace it with another activity and picked up running. Soon after, she started running at 100, she broke several world records. “I don’t train like most runners. I just keep active and do lots of things,” she said. While she doesn’t run regularly, she bends and stretches every day and walks around her property to tend to her plants. She has lived in the same house since she and her husband, Murray, built it after World War II, when he became a physics professor at nearby Louisiana State University.

  • Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher hit back at split rumours with FUNNIEST video

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher hit back at split rumours with FUNNIEST video

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher hit back at split rumours with funniest video

The couple tied the knot in 2015

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have found the perfect way to shut down reports they are splitting up. The couple, who tied the knot in 2015, filmed a hilarious video that showed them poking fun at the rumours printed by one tabloid magazine. Mila held up a photo of the magazine cover, while Ashton asked his wife: “Babe, what’s happening? What’s going on?”

“It’s over between us!” the Black Swan actress dramatically replied. “It’s over between us? Oh my god, what are we going to do?” Ashton asked. “Yeah… I felt suffocated!” Mila continued. “You felt suffocated by me? I was just so overbearing, wasn’t I!” Ashton quipped.

Mila and Ashton poked fun at the rumours

Pausing, Mila added: “Also… I took the kids.” “Oh, you took the kids? I don’t get the kids anymore?” Ashton exclaimed. “But… you had a very dark secret exposed!” his wife continued. “Oh my gosh, what was the dark secret?” Ashton asked, to which Mila shook her head and said: “I don’t know! I only have this photo…” The magazine cover claimed Ashton, 41, and Mila, 35, were going through a “$400 million divorce shocker”. One of the dramatic coverlines read: “The lie that destroyed everything.”

The couple are the doting parents to four-year-old daughter Wyatt Isabelle and son Dimitri Portwood, two. Speaking previously to Marie Claire, Mila has said of being a mum: “What motherhood shows you is how selfless you can get. I’m ragged tired. Who cares? My kids are healthy, I’m happy.”

The couple have two children together

Ashton, meanwhile, has spoken about how different raising a girl and a boy can be. “It’s weird because girls advance apparently faster than boys,” the actor said in 2017 on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. “My daughter is like two and a half, she speaks three languages, she’s got like Russian and Spanish and English. She actually understands and speaks them.” He quipped: “The boy is just like ‘thuck.’ Just like a chunky, ‘BAHHHH.’ He sounds like a pterodactyl, and he’s not coming around.”

  • Olivia Newton-John’s leather Grease jacket up for auction

Olivia Newton-John’s leather Grease jacket up for auction

It was the outfit which marked Sandy Olson’s transition from prim and proper school girl to sex symbol in Grease.

Now, you could own the famous leather jacket and skin-tight pants worn by Olivia Newton-John in an one of the world’s most iconic cinema moments.

California auction house Julien’s Auctions is advertising the outfit along with a huge list of 200 pieces of memorabilia and costumes worn during Newton-John’s acting and singing career.

‘Grease’ is getting a prequel retelling the origin story of how Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson first met.

The leather outfit, worn as Newton-John sang “You’re the One that I Want” alongside John Travolta, is being described as “one of the highly anticipated moments of the auction” and is expected to fetch up to $US200,000 ($290,000)

A portion of the money raised will be donated to the 70-year-old actress’ Melbourne cancer centre, which provides services for cancer patients and research.

Other Grease memorabilia up for grabs includes Newton-John’s original script from the film, which is expected to fetch up to $US4000 ($5800), and a Grease 10-times platinum award, expected to be sold for up to $US2000 ($2902).

If you preferred Sandy’s “pink ladies” persona, a custom jacket presented to the actress by the cast and crew of Grease is expected to be sold for up to $US4000 ($5800).

Also going under the hammer are a pair of custom-made cream thigh-high boots and a pair of harem pants worn by Newton-John in Xanadu and a silk satin bodice worn on the cover of her 1982 Physical tour book.

Super fans may even want to bid on a white and gold velvet top and hot pants worn on The Merv Griffin Show in 1981 or a petal pink point d’espirit lace gown worn to the premiere of Grease at The Mann’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, expected to sell for up to $US5000 ($7200).

The auction is taking place in Beverly Hills and online on November 2 and will follow exhibitions of the items in Ireland and the US.

Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta celebrated the event at a special screening.

Newton-John was diagnosed with her third bout of cancer in June 2017 and has a tumour in the base of her spine.

After several news outlets reported the star had “weeks, not months” left to live in January, the Grease actress said she was “doing great”.

“The rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated, to quote a very famous quote,” she said in a video on her Facebook page.

  • Oprah Says Rebooting Her Talk Show Would Be Something She’d Love to Make Happen

Oprah Says Rebooting Her Talk Show Would Be Something She’d Love to Make Happen

Oprah Winfrey may prove that life can go full circle at times, because she hinted at rebooting “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” the daily talk show that made her a household name.

The syndicated show ran from 1986 to 2011 and taped in Chicago. Some of the episodes had big-name celebrities as guests, others had everyday people who told compelling stories and sometimes Winfrey made herself the subject matter — like in a 1988 episode when she revealed a massive weight loss.

Winfrey also had special giveaway episodes where she’d give the studio audience extravagant gifts, which is where her famous “You get a car, you get a car” line came from.

The last episode of the talk show was a major TV event that was held at Chicago’s United Center. All kinds of celebrities came by to wish the legendary host well, including Jada Pinkett Smith, Jamie Foxx, Patti LaBelle, Maya Angelou, Michael Jordan, Usher, Alicia Keys, Aretha Franklin and Beyoncé, who performed “Run the World” (Girls).”

Winfrey was in Toronto earlier this week promoting her new book The Path Made Clear: Discovering Your Life’s Direction and Purpose” when the subject of her talk show came up.

And according to the 65-year-old, bringing it back would be a great idea but just on a different schedule than before. Winfrey also said she gets that talk show itch whenever a big news story unfolds.

“I would love to make that happen, let me tell you,” she told “ET Canada.” “But maybe not every day. For 25 years, it was perfect. The only time I missed it was during the election or when something really big happens in the news. I think, ‘Oh, gee, I wish I had a show.’”

  • Italian Man Impersonating George Clooney Arrested in Thailand

Italian Man Impersonating George Clooney Arrested in Thailand

Thai authorities working with Interpol agents recently arrested an Italian “George Clooney” impostor who, along with his accomplice, had evaded Italian authorities for years.

Identified as 58-year-old Francesco Galdelli and 45-year-old partner Vanja Goffi, the pair of scam artists have been dubbed the “Italian Bonnie and Clyde.”

Galdelli, who has been accused of posing as George Clooney online to sell clothing, was apprehended on Saturday in a luxury villa in Pattaya, reports Agence France-Presse.

“During interrogation, Francesco confessed to claiming to be George Clooney and opening a clothing business to trick people into sending money,” Thailand’s Crime Suppression Division said in a statement.

It was also revealed that the fugitives have been wanted in Italy for years in relation to other scams, such as selling fake Rolex watches online and then sending packets of salt to their victims.

In 2010, Clooney himself testified against the pair at a court in Milan back in 2010 saying he never approved any affiliation with them. He accused the couple and another accomplice of using his name to sell a fashion line via a fake brand “GC Exclusive by George Clooney.”

Having conned investors out of over $128,000 in Italy, the scammers were sentenced to eight years and four months in jail for fraud. The couple reportedly fled and have since been wanted oIn an Interpol red notice since 2013. Based on the police report, they have been in Thailand since 2014.

Before their extradition proceedings can start, Galdelli and Goffi must first face the charges of overstaying their visas in Thailand.

Jim Carrey refuses to take selfies and his reasons may put you off them too

Thank you for subscribingWe have more newslettersShow meSee our privacy notice

Having selfies taken with fans may seem like just part of the day job for celebs, but not all them are on board with it.

Jim Carrey for example refuses to have any taken with his loyal fans, and he cites some pretty good reasons – which may even change the mind of the most die-hard selfie fan. Maybe.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter , the 57-year-old Ace Ventura star revealed he wasn’t a fan of stopping to have his photo taken, particularly if it was selfie.

He explained: “I dropped the whole trying to be something for somebody a long time ago. I don’t feel there is a pressing responsibility to please everyone.

“I’m not unkind to people, but I would much prefer saying hello and who are you and what are you doing today to giving a selfie.”

So what’s his beef with selfies?

    It’s “Because selfies stop life.”

Warming to his theme, Carrey continued: “You go [contorts his face], ‘Eeehh’. And then it’s going on Instagram to give people a false sense of relevance.

The video will start in 8Cancel

“Everybody was so gaga about Steve Jobs, but I picture him in hell running from demons who want a selfie.”

Carrey’s stance had echoes of Keanu Reeves , who was recently revealed to not be keen on hugging or touching fans in photos.
