  • Limbaugh Loved Trump’s Press Conference

    Limbaugh Loved Trump’s Press Conference

Limbaugh had some very positive things to say about Trump’s recent press conference… saying:

This was one of the most effective press conferences I have ever seen”

Limbaugh said while the media still won’t warm up to Trump, it was what his supporters wanted to see, which was a willingness to tout his achievements and take on some of the claims from the media.

“You know it is hard to say — you get caught up in the moment,” Limbaugh said. “But this was one of the most effective press conferences I have ever seen. The press is going to hate him even more after this. Don’t misunderstand. When I say effective, I’m talking about rallying people who voted for him to stay with him. He made a point — ‘What chaos? You’re reporting chaos. We’re not in chaos. We’re a well-oiled machine. We got one of the smoothest running machines in the history of machines. We got one of the best administrations in the history of administrations.’”

“And he rattled off the achievements they’ve had here that the media is not reporting because they’re so focused on whether or not Trump worked with Russia to screw Hillary out of the presidency,” he continued. “And he was reassuring the people he’s on top of everything. Nothing has changed. Everything he campaigned on, he is doing. All he is doing is fulfilling campaign promises. And of course, the Democrats don’t like him. Of course, the media don’t like him. It isn’t going to stop him.” Read more…

  • Sears and Kmart Remove Trump Products from Websites

Sears and Kmart Remove Trump Products from Websites

Items from Trump Home, which is part of the Trump Organization, were reportedly not available on both websites and did not appear in a search of either website as of Friday.

Sears sold 19 Trump Home items on their website and Kmart sold 13 Trump Home items on their website as of Tuesday, according to brand strategist Shannon Coulter, who started the #GrabYourWallet Trump boycott.

Coulter has been tracking which retailers do business with the Trump family on the Grab Your Wallet website since October.  Read more…

It’s interesting that this report comes after Nordstrom dropped Ivanka Trump’s merchandise and TJ Maxx pulled advertising for her products.  Sears claims that this isn’t intentional against Trump but that it’s merely a way for them to streamline which products are most profitable. I think it’s obvious that this is more than a coincidence though.

  • Richard Gere Speaks Against Trump

    Richard Gere Speaks Against Trump

Richard Gere believes Trump is making things worse. He thinks President Trump is causing refugees and terrorists to mean the same thing.

“The number of hate crimes went up enormously as soon as Donald Trump started running for president, in the United States and in Europe,” Gere told an audience at the festival, according to Deadline.

Unfortunately, a lot of the crimes committed have been from people who are mad that Trump was elected President. You also have a LOT of people that George Soros has funded to cause problems. So if someone is doing the right thing, and that causes people to be upset about that, do you blame the person doing the right thing?

    Gere goes on to say:

“Unfortunately, we have leaders that stimulate fear, and that fear causes us to do really terrible things. I think that’s part of what we’re talking about in the film. We have to be really careful how we talk to each other and characterize each other. The most horrible thing Trump has done is conflate the terms refugee and terrorist. It means the same thing in the U.S. now. A refugee used to be someone who you had empathy for, who you wanted to help and give refuge to. Now we’re afraid of them. We have to really understand what he and this conservative movement has done and not forget we’re all in this together. We can’t escape each other’s realities. We have to embrace each other and love each other.” Read More: Richard Gere Rips Trump Immigration Policy: We Must ‘Embrace and Love’ Each Other

Of course embracing and loving people is a good thing, but does it really make sense to embrace someone who is trying to kill you?

  • Matthew McConaughey wants Hollywood to give Donald Trump a chance

Matthew McConaughey wants Hollywood to give Donald Trump a chance

Matthew McConaughey has some practical advice for those in Hollywood who are opposed to Trump:

The 47-year-old said it’s okay to strongly disagree with some of Trump’s policies but it’s important to wait and see how his first term in office plays out.

“So anyone, even those who may strongly disagree with his principles or things he’s said and done — and that’s another thing, we’ll see what he does compares to what he has said — no matter how much you even disagreed along the way, it’s time to think about how constructive can you be,” he shared.

It’s great advice, but do you think Hollywood will give Trump a chance?

  • Construction of Wall Will Begin in Months

Construction of Wall Will Begin in Months

President Donald Trump told ABC News anchor David Muir that Mexico would be paying for the proposed border wall and that negotiations between the two nations would begin “relatively soon.”

“Ultimately, it will come out of what’s happening with Mexico … and we will be in a form reimbursed by Mexico, which I’ve always said,” Trump said.

During the interview, which took place at the White House this morning, Trump said that Mexico would pay the U.S. back “100 percent.”

He confirmed that U.S. taxpayer dollars would be used to start the construction but said reimbursement would follow.

“All it is, is we’ll be reimbursed at a later date from whatever transaction we make from Mexico,” he said. “I’m just telling you there will be a payment. It will be in a form, perhaps a complicated form. What I’m doing is good for the United States. It’s also going to be good for Mexico. We want to have a very stable, very solid Mexico.”

When asked about the start of construction, Trump said it would happen in “months.”

“As soon as we can, as soon as we can physically do it,” he said. “I would say in months, yeah. I would say in months — certainly planning is starting immediately.”

  • Obama Care Update

    Obama Care Update

There is a lot of evidence pointing to the fact that changes are coming to Obama care. It’s still early to tell how things will look. However, a plan has been suggested that would give control to states, to allow them to decide what they want to do. If Obama care is working for a state, they can keep it. If a state wants to do something different, they can receive the same funding they would have received for Obama care and put that towards something different that would work better for their state.

  • President Trump’s approval rating rises to 57 percent

President Trump’s approval rating rises to 57 percent

President Trump’s approval rating is on the rise.

A new Rasmussen Reports survey released Wednesday says President Trump has a 57 percent job approval rating among likely voters.

In addition, the pollster has isolated key passages in Mr. Trump’s inaugural speech and asked respondents if they agreed with the ideas he presented.

Voters like Mr. Trump’s populist standing: 72 percent agreed with his statement that “For too long, a small group in our nation’s capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost.” 17 percent disagreed, 11 percent were not sure.

A majority of the respondents — 52 percent — also agreed with this statement: “From this day forward, a new vision will govern our land. From this day forward, it’s going to be only America first.” Thirty-seven percent disagreed, 11 percent were undecided.

The poll of 1,500 likely voters was conducted Sunday through Tuesday.

In addition, Rasmussen also reveals that 54 percent of voters also favor a proposal that would cut spending up to 10 percent and cut staffing up to 20 percent. in some federal government agencies. Twenty-seven percent oppose such cuts, while 19 percent are undecided.

Right now, this rating is mostly a result of hope and optimism as people haven’t had a chance to experience any as a result of decisions President Trump is currently making.  As people continue to see the benefits of Trump implementing his agenda and policies, this rating will continue to rise.
